Millions to a Billion, Mega Millions Jackpot in Record Territory for Friday Drawing

 

SAN ANGELO- The Mega Millions Lottery is up over $1 billion after no winning tickets were sold in the Tuesday Drawing.

The Tuesday Mega Millions drawing saw no winners and the jackpot has climbed over the $1 billion mark. The jackpot sits at $1.02 billion for Friday’s drawing which has a $602.5 million cash payout.

The winning numbers for Tuesday were 7, 29, 60, 63, 66 and the “Mega Ball” was 15.

Mega Millions spokesperson Maria Kilbane said, “It takes a long time for this kind of jackpot to get up this high, so we’re excited.” The Mega Millions has gone 29 straight draws without a jackpot winner.

Mega Million tickets cost $2 but if you want the megaplier, they cost $3. You must be 18 years or older to participate in the Texas Lottery. The next Mega Million drawing is Friday, July 29, 2022.
