HOLLYWOOD- The seventh installment of the Mission Impossible franchise has released a surprise trailer over a year out from the film’s release date.
Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, will be the franchises first two-part story. Not much about the plot of the film is known at this time but it does bring back Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, the unstoppable IMF Agent, and the supporting cast of Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, and Vanessa Kirby.
Dead Reckoning Part One also goes way back to the first “Mission Impossible” film and brings Henry Czerny back into the fold as IMF director Eugene Kittridge.
New additions to the cast like Hayley Atwell (Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness/Christopher Robin), Easi Morales (Ozark/La Bamba), and Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy Part Two/Oldboy), Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2/Tom & Jerry), and Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride/Robin Hood: Men in Tights).
