Million Dollar Scratch Off Sold in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A million dollar scratch off ticket was sold at a San Angelo gas station last week.

According to the Texas Lottery, on Oct. 22, a winning Millionaire Club scratch ticket was claimed by a man in San Angelo.

The ticket was purchased at Riya's Convenience Store located at 2451 Sherwood Way.

The winning number, 27, gave out the grand prize of $1 million.

The clerk at the Shell Station says that the man wishes to remain anonymous. What she could say was that the man has not quit his day job and is continuing to live his normal life.

This is only the second time a million dollar prize was given out by a Millionaire Club ticket. The first was on May 20 in New Waverly.
