Saved By the Bell Star Dead at 44

SAN ANGELO, TX – Saved by the Bell's, Dustin Diamond, 44, has died of cancer, confirmed Diamond's Representative Monday.

The following statement was released by Diamond's Representative:

"We are saddened to confirm of Dustin Diamond's passing on Monday, February 1st, 2021 due to carcinoma. He was diagnosed with this brutal, relentless form of malignant cancer only three weeks ago. In that time, it managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution. Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain. For that, we are grateful."

Diamond was hospitalized in Jan. after receiving news that cancer had spread into his lungs.

Diamond was a star in many shows including "Saved by the Bell", "Saved by the Bell: The College Years," and "Saved by the Bell: The New Class." Diamond also stared in a number of reality shows and a tell-all documentary titled "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story."
