ABILENE, TX -- As the Outlaws & Legends Music Fest celebrates its 10th anniversary, organizers are announcing a major star in the lineup.
This year's festival will feature movie and TV legend Kevin Costner during the March event.
"As one of the most iconic names within the entertainment industry, Kevin Costner is bringing his band Modern West, which has achieved Top 100 Country Album success on Billboard and is currently featured in the smash-hit television series Yellowstone starring Costner!," said festival organizers. "Costner is headlining the Fest on Friday night, alongside Awarded Country Music Artists, Mark Powell and Deana Carter, with The Hamiltons."
The festival will take place on March 19th and 20th at The Back Porch of Texas.
Kevin Costner will be headlining the Friday, while Randy Houser will headline Saturday's event.
Kevin Fowler, Lee Roy Parnell, Jaime Richards, Curtis Grimes, Jerrod Medulla, and Della Rose will also join Houser on stage.
The festival also announced Willie Nelson will no longer be part of the festival this year.
"Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Willie Nelson will not be appearing at the O&L festival on March 19th in Abilene, Texas," said the Willie Nelson Team in a statement. "This decision is made out of an abundance of caution for the health and well-being of Willie, his band, and crew. “We wish we could be part of the 10th Anniversary of the festival and hope to make it back to this event someday."
Since 2013, Backporch Productions has raised nearly $1.5 Million for Ben Richey Boys Ranch with a percentage of all ticket sales. The event has generated more than $2 Million for Abilene Non- profits since 2011.
Additionally, $500,000 has been raised through Outlaws & Legends Music Festival for additional non-profits.
Tickets are still available for the festival. General Admission is $54 plus tax for the weekend. VIP tickets are $420 for the weekend -- and they are going fast.
