SAN ANGELO, TX — Kerrville native and popular Texas troubadour Robert Earl Keen will perform here June 18. Although Keen as performed in San Angelo in the past, his upcoming performance at Murphey Hall at the San Angelo Performing Arts Center on June 18 is expected to sell out.
Keen is considered the newest patriarch of Texas music since Willie Nelson has slowed down with age. He and fellow Aggie Lyle Lovett created a cult fan base with their iconic performances and songwriting in College Station during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He is best known for his signature song, "The Road Goes on Forever," that tells a tragic story about Sherry the waitress and Sonny who go on a murderous crime spree.

Tickets are currently available for sale on SAPAC's website. There are options for sponsorships with meet and greet benefits. General admission tickets are priced from $31.50 up to $55.00 for this event.
SAPAC said that tickets for Robert Earl Keen will only be sold on the San Angelo Performing Arts Center website.
