Asleep At The Wheel To Headline 2020 West Texas Boys Ranch Ball

SAN ANGELO, TX – Asleep At The Wheel is about to embark on their 50th Anniversary Tour and will be starting it in San Angelo when they headline the 2020 West Texas Boys Ranch Ball with Special Guest Tommy Alverson. The Ball will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the First Financial Pavilion on the San Angelo Fairgrounds. Organizers promise a night of good music, good food, and good people all benefitting the boys of West Texas Boys Ranch!

The evening will begin when doors open at 6:30 p.m. The silent auction commences and a cash bar will be available. Dinner will be served promptly at 7:30 p.m. with the sounds of Tommy Alverson following at 8:15 p.m. The headliner, the Texas legendary band Asleep At The Wheel will take the stage at 9:30 p.m. and you can continue to dance the night away!!

Ray Benson founded Asleep At The Wheel in Paw Paw, West Virginia 49 years ago and will return to the West Texas Boys Ranch Ball celebrating their 50th Anniversary in 2020. Now based in Austin, the band holds 10 Grammy awards, 20 studio albums and 20 singles on the Billboard country charts. The Grammy Award-winning album Still The King: Celebrating the Music of Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys is the band’s most recent release (2015) and marks their third full-length Bob Wills tribute album.
