Celebrate National Hot Dog Day With Dollar Hot Dogs

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Today is national hot dog day. 

July 17 is national hot dog day and what better way to celebrate then eating one yourself. 

According to the National Day Calender, The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council created National Hot Dog Day.  The day was established in 1991 to coincide with a hot dog lunch on Capitol Hill every year on a Wednesday in July.

The following are top spots in town for hot dogs: 

  • 7-Eleven: Quarter-pound Big Bite hot dogs for $1.
  • Wienerschnitzel: 5 chili dogs for $5.
  • Sonic: $1 Hot Dogs.
  • Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steak burgers\
  • Twisted Root Burger Co.
