Celebrate National Go Fishing Day

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Today is national go fishing day and the Concho Valley is a top spot for fishing. 

San Angelo is filled with great places to fish such as the Lake Nasworthy, O.C Fisher, the Concho River, Twin Buttes, as well as many others. 

Throughout the years many people have caught record size fish in the Concho Valley. 

Austin Terry caught this Legacy Lunker in March of 2018 at Twin Buttes Reservoir. The bass was 25 3/4" and weighed 13.40 lbs.

Logan Lloyd caught this 77-pound Flathead Catfish in Twin Buttes Reservoir. He made the catch in March of 2018.
