Texas Country Music Star Dies After Gun Fires While Filming Music Video

 

HOUSTON, TX – Up-and-coming country music star Justin Carter died on Saturday after accidently shooting himself during a music video.

Carter was shooting a music video when a gun that was located in his pocket discharged and hit him in the corner of his eye.

The family posted this statement on his Facebook. "Please Keep Justin’s Family In Your Prayers & Give Them Privacy In This Hard Time. Justin Is No Longer With Us, He Has Passed Away. He Will Be Missed By Us All, He Was Always Full Of Joy, Laughter, And Loved On So Many People In His Life. Justin Appreciated All His Fans And Their Support. Justin Loved All Of You. Thank You All For Your Support! We Will Have More Details Releasing Soon On How You Can Help Donate & Help His Family With Burial And Everything! Rest In Heaven My Brother!"

Carter was a native-Texan who is leaving behind his two children. He was also about to go on a 10 state tour after just releasing the single "Love Affair" featuring Nu Breed.
