New Board Game About San Angelo Hits - and Flies off - Shelves in Time for Christmas

SAN ANGELO, TX-- Have you ever wanted to own a business or property in San Angelo? Thanks to a Monopoly-like game, you can at least feel like a business owner.

San Angelo-opoly by Late for the Sky has hit shelves in local Wal-Marts recently and have been bought just as quick.

The game's properties include San Angelo staples like the Cactus Hotel, Kids Kingdom, Concho Valley Farmers Market, Franco's Cafe, Cork and Pig Tavern and many more. A card in the game says you can lose one turn for eating too much wood fired pizza from Cork and Pig.

The playing pieces are a high five, big smile, heart, a dog, pretzel and gym shoe.

One feature that's different from the original game of Monopooly is you don't go to jail. Instead you have to deal with a traffic jam.

People have been seen buying the games in large quantities, meaning most of them have been sold out. However, at the time of publication, a limited amount were still available at the Wal-Mart on S. Bryant Blvd.

The game costs $19.98 before taxes.
