SAN ANGELO, TX -- Support a local organization that is in the business of placing animals in their furever home by winning money eating pie this weekend.
Critter Shack has linked up with Petsmart and H-E-B to host an adoption event at the Petsmart located on Sherwood with a pumpkin pie eating contest where the winner gets a $50 reward.
The adoption event is on Saturday, November 10th and the pie eating competition begins at 4 pm. If you would like to sign up to be in the pie eating contest, please contact Brent at [email protected]. The entry fee is $10.
All proceeds this weekend will go towards Critter Shack. Critter Shack is 100% volunteer and every penny raised goes towards the care of the animals while they wait for their forever families to come.
Brent at Critter Shack says, "We hope to make this the beginning of an annual Thanksgiving event that the community will love... almost as much as the animals we have for adoption."
