San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts Offering Fun Events this Thursday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts is putting on multiple events on Thursday this week, and more to come.

On Thursday, the events are:

  • Art Thursday – 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Education Studio and it is free to the public
  • Downtown & Cultural Arts District Stroll – 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and free to the public
  • Art Sale & Reception by EnPleinair San Angelo – PASAabilities 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Gallery Green and it is free to the public

The Art Thursdays are for people to go and enjoy an afternoon of art making in the Education Studio. Watercolor and clay are always featured and every three weeks there are two new art projects to try. It is asked that you allow yourself at least 30 minutes to try the projects.

Gallery Verde - Plein Air San Angelo is going to be in front the museum on Thursday featuring local artists in the community. It is an open artists group focused on encouraging local artistic growth.

The Downtown Art Stroll is every third Thursday of the month. The stroll showcases some of the best art, food, and fun that Downtown San Angelo has to offer. It is encouraged to take advantage of the free trolley service that is available during the Downtown Stroll.

The art galleries at the museum will be closed June 25 – July 13 for the exhibit change. More information is available at SAMFA Events.
