The 46th annual REHAB 2016 televised show benefiting the West Texas Rehabilitation Center will be this Saturday, Jan. 16, according to a press release. The show will originate live from the Abilene Civic Center and will show in nine television markets serving Texas and portions of Oklahoma and new Mexico. It will also be streamed at WestTexasRehab.org.
Running from 7 p.m. to midnight, the telecast provides an opportunity for Rehab Center employees to tell their story, showcase their services, provide entertainment, and raise money to support patient services.
According to the press release, REHAB 2015 was a record year raising over 1.33 million dollars. With continued support from companies, individuals and organizations, REHAB 2016 will be the most successful telethon yet according to West Texas Rehab officials.
Sawyer Brown will be the headlining entertainment for the event, and other big names included in the program are Charlie Chase, Brad Maule, Twyla Foreman, and Red Steagall.
