The 21st Annual Concho Christmas Celebration Light Tour Begins Friday

 

The 2015 Concho Christmas Celebration River Light Tour will start on Friday, December 4, said a press release Thursday. The tour will run through December 31 and is open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weeknights, and from 6 p.m. to midnight on weekends. Families are invited to walk, run, bike, or drive the tour, and a suggested donation of $5 per vehicle is greatly appreciated.

Saturday's festivities will begin with the Community Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:15 p.m. and will feature the Twin Mountain Tonesmen and the San Angelo Community Band. This will take place at the corner of Concho and Chadbourne Streets, and immediately following, guests are invited to enjoy the Lights of Christmas Parade at 6 p.m.

Other activities will include "Bike Through the Lights," a bicycle riding tour on December 6; "Tuba Christmas," a Christmas concert at the Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall on December 12; "Run Rudolph Run," a non-competitive fun run on December 13; and "Santa's Santa Fe Christmas" at the Railway Museum on weekends through December 19.
