Before people flocked to the San Angelo Stadium to watch Central play Arlington in the first playoff game in the 2015 UIL State Football Championships Tournament Friday evening, families took a detour to the Sunset Mall where approximately 100 children awaited the arrival of Santa Clause.

As families awaited Santa, smiles plastered the faces of children and adults alike as they enjoyed a San Angelo Civic Ballet performance of the Nutcracker. When Santa finally made his entrance, cheers filled the air.

To add to the fun, the San Angelo Civic Ballet raffled off performances for A Fairy Plumb Tea Party and the Nutcracker.
