Mod Vaude: A Vaudevillian Tribute to the Texas Theatre

The San Angelo Civic Ballet (SACB) will open its 2015/2016 Performance Season with Mod Vaude at the Texas Theatre, this weekend, October 2 - 3 at 8 p.m. New Artistic Director and renown choreographer, Gina Patterson will present new work in a vaudeville style, accompanied by the live band, East Side Dandies of Austin. SACB dancers will be joined onstage by guest dancers from Ballet Austin, Atlanta Ballet former SACB Pre-Professoinal dancer, Leah Seifert, and local talent including Downtown San Angelo Inc. Director, Del Velasquez and well known San Angelo Native, Phillip Templeton.

Members of the Media: are invited to attend any of this week’s theatre rehearsals Tuesday 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Wednesday 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m., or Thursday 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Thursday’s rehearsal will be a full dress rehearsal with the live musicians.
