The San Angelo Civic Ballet will end 2014 with it’s 31st annual performance of The Nutcracker. Dress rehearsals for The Nutcracker will be held in the Lake View Auditorium on Wednesday, December 17th, 6:30-9:30 p.m. and Thursday, December 18th, 6:30-8:30 p.m. The Ballet will be selling $10 general admission tickets to Thursday’s dress rehearsal on account of the early performance's ticket sell-out.
The Nutcracker for many here is a beloved holiday tradition that will again delight San Angelo audience members of all ages this month. The ballet organizers said that at the performance, it is inspiring and heart warming to watch joyful children, menacing mice, sparkling snowflakes and a breath-taking Sugar Plum Fairy grace the stage to tell the timeless story of the ballet. The Nutcracker is loved. It is loved because it brings out the best of our community in spirit, talent, warmth, kinship, and kindness. San Angelo Civic Ballet invites all to become a part of the San Angelo tradition this December and join them for a magical beginning to the holiday season!
