Civic Ballet Announces Upcoming "Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party"

Tickets are available for the San Angelo Civic Ballet’s fourth annual Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party Sunday, November 16, 2014, at the Historic Fort Concho Stables. The Ballet will host two seatings of the Tea Party: 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Special pre-sale Nutcracker tickets will be available for purchase at both seatings.

Tea Party guests will enjoy sweet treats and tea seated at beautifully decorated tables while being served by a myriad of Nutcracker characters. The attendees will play Nutcracker games, have the Nutcracker story read to them by the Dew Drop Fairy and have an opportunity to learn about the Nutcracker characters, dancing, and music. The highlight of the afternoon will be a special appearance by the Sugar Plum Fairy. Guests will meet and have a special souvenir photo taken with the Sugar Plum Fairy herself who will be played by Pre-Professional Level SACB dancers, Miss Leah Seifert and Miss Kelsey Minzenmayer. Seifert and Minzenmayer will be performing the role in the Nutcracker onstage this December. !

Tickets are $15 apiece and can be purchased at the Ballet office at 15 W Beauregard, or by contacting (325) 653-8877 or [email protected].

The Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party is generously sponsored by San Angelo Community Medical Center.
