Saturday night’s free Texas country music concert, headlined by the Judson Cole Band and featuring Whiskey Skyline, Cory Michael and Chris Brazeal, is also scheduled to be at 7 p.m. at the RiverStage, 16 E. Avenue A. A decision will be made Saturday morning whether to move the show to the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive. The decision will be announced on the City’s website at cosatx.us/riverfest, on the City of San Angelo-Public Information Facebook page, and on Twitter @CityofSanAngelo.
Rain or shine, the Stripes River Fest 2014 will occur. Most of Saturday’s activities will be along the Concho River downtown and many are free. The festivities include a Color Up 5K, a washer-pitching tournament, a kids court, the first Glow on the Concho and the annual Lily Fest in Civic League Park.
