Local Youth Groups, families, and the West Texas Boys Ranch braved the rain to see their favorite bands perform at the Unite and Conquer Festival at the Foster Communications Coliseum Saturday.
Music, vendors, speakers, and even a special Q&A with Seventh Day Slumber created a fun alternative for locals on a rainy day.
“Every year that they’ve had it we’ve brought the boys,” said Bryan of West Texas Boys Ranch, “they have a good time.”
Providing a little background on the event, Bryan explained that the first Unite and Conquer was actually held at the Ranch. The views of the Boys ranch are expressed in the views of the event, Bryan says, making the festival an ideal outing for the Ranch community.
According to the Unite & Conquer website, the purpose of the festival is: “Rather than allow the enemy to divide our Family, Marriages, and Churches, let's stand together and Conquer.”
Unite and Conquer is an annual event hosted in San Angelo. For more information visit www.uniteandconquersa.org
