Election Results

The election live stream for San Angelo will begin once we have some idea of the early voting numbers. Citizens are still voting at many of the voting centers as of 7:30 p.m. These results are for Tom Green County voters only. For statewide see Texas Trib and for nationwide, NY Times has an excellent results page.

Overheard at the Elections Office are that there are voting machine problems at the Belmore Baptist Church. The scanner requires a reboot after each ballot is scanned by a voter.

Long lines at 7 p.m. will delay results. TxDOT had a line wrapped around the building. We have reports that some voting centers had 50-60 citizens still in line waiting to vote at 7:30 p.m.

Reports are that voting system problems are more widespread. Some voters can't be found in the database.

At Southgate Church of Christ voting center, reports are they ran out of paper.

Voters are still in line as of 8:20 p.m.

We expect first results from Tom Green County at 9 p.m. and that can change.
