SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo ISD has officially announced the opening of enrollment and transfer applications for the 2024-2025 academic year.
This is available for new and returning students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
According to the school district, Enrollment can be completed from any web browser or smartphone. Parents can digitally upload documents required to complete enrollment, such as birth certificates, proof of residence, social security cards, and immunization records, in PDF, JPEG, and other standard file formats.
For students new to SAISD, including pre-k and kindergarten entrants or those newly relocated to San Angelo, a "New Student Registration Form" must be filled out.
The district has also provided attendance boundary maps on its website to assist parents in determining the school that is eligible for their child based on their residence.
Returning students to SAISD are required to complete a "Returning Student Verification Form" through the Home Access Center (HAC), ensuring that all student information is up-to-date for emergency contacts and medical information.
The transfer application window for the upcoming school year is now open, running from April 1, 2024, through May 17, 2024.
The district emphasizes that transfers are subject to approval, valid for one school year only, and not guaranteed. Parents of students enrolled in specialized programs such as Bilingual or Gifted and Talented (GT) are reminded to submit their transfer applications annually.
Notifications regarding the status of transfer applications will be sent out by June 7, 2024.
