SAN ANGELO, TX - Summer camp registration for the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts has officially opened today, March 25, at 10 a.m.
The Summer camp has different categories for varying ages.
For kiddos aged three to six, the camp offers “Helping Hands.”
Helping Hands is described as a “family learning program designed for 3-6 year olds with an adult helper (required)."
Camp for Helping Hands begins at 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the SAMFA’s Ed Studio.
The class will be on the following days:
- June 8th
- June 15th
- June 22nd
- July 6th
- July 13th
- July 20th
- July 27th
- August 3rd
It is $15 for one parent and one child and $20 for one parent and two children.
“Art of Nature” is the name of the camp for ages 7 through 12.
In the Art of Nature camp, campers will use elements of nature and art to create projects all week long.
Art of Nature camp classes will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Ages seven through nine will have camps on June 3rd through 7th for “Quest the Concho.” And again, June 10th through the 14th for “River Ramblers.”
Camps for ages 10 through 12 will begin on June 17th through the 21st for Quest the Concho. On June 24th through the 28th, the 10 through 12-year-olds will begin River Ramblers.
Art of Nature camps are $100 per person.
July artist workshops will be announced. They consist of studio-concentrated, fine art programs led by “classically trained local artists.”
Kids will be able to work alongside featured artists in their specialized fields to create artwork.
