Dolly Parton's 'Imagination Library' Begins

SAN ANGELO, TX – The children’s department at the Stephens Central Library was selected to host the launch party for Dolly Parton’s “Imagination Library” registration day.

The event is happening now from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the 33 W Beauregard Ave library.

The Tom Green County Library stated that this program reaches more children than any other early childhood book gifting program.

The program mails free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth until age five, “no matter their family’s income.”

The official launch will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony, registration details, a read-aloud session, crafts, and snacks courtesy of United Way of the Concho Valley volunteers.
