Lake View Mariachi Earns State UIL Accolades

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The Lake View Mariachi, Los Caciques, received superior ratings at the UIL State Mariachi Festival.

Also, as a standalone, Isaac Carrales was recognized as an outstanding performer for the second year in a row.

In 2023, Carrales made history by being the first Mariachi student in San Angelo and all of West Texas to earn a spot in the All-State Mariachi.

Not only did he earn a spot, but he was chosen to fill the first chair position, the highest placement, among the best Mariachi students in the entire state of Texas.
