San Angelo ISD Trustees Set to Vote on Superintendent Finalist

SAN ANGELO – Trustees of the San Angelo Independent School District Monday evening could vote on a lone finalist for new Superintendent during their regular meeting.

SAISD Board President Dr. Taylor Kingman said Monday the board will consider a motion to name the lone finalist to replace Dr. Carl Dethloff who announced his retirement from the district earlier this year.

Dethloff was appointed Superintendent of the San Angelo ISD on July 1, 2015.

Texas law requires that school districts name a lone finalist for Superintendent then wait 21 days before offering that individual a contract for employment.

The San Angelo ISD Board of Trustees meets at 5:45 p.m. in the Administration building on University avenue.
