San Angelo ISD Career Tech Signing Day

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Twelve seniors in San Angelo ISD’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) program showed their intention after graduation during the inaugural CTE Career Signing Day Tuesday, May 19. Students from both Central High School and Lake View High School signed letters of intent to enroll in a community college or technical school, enter the workforce, or join the military.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE/TECHNICAL SCHOOL:

  • Mark Anthony Cuellar – Entering community & technical college
  • Alyssa Diaz – Universal Technical Institute
  • Alyza Fernandez – San Antonio College
  • Alfredo Hurtado – Entering technical college

 

MILITARY:

  • Diego Aguilera – Enlisting, United States Marine Corps

 

ENTERING CT WORKFORCE:

  • Daniel Gonzalez – Welding & Fabrication industry
  • Nevaeha Lay-Nay Guy
  • Kalel Muniz
  • Reynaldo Rodriguez, Jr. – Pioneer Natural Resources
  • Ricardo Rey Sanchez – Entering the workforce with H&P Drilling 
  • David Schneider – Welding & Fabrication industry
  • Aydan Toler – Welding & Fabrication industry

 

CTE Career Signing Day was made possible through a partnership between SAISD’s CTE department, San Angelo Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development division, Concho Valley Workforce Development Board, Howard College, Builders Association of San Angelo, and the Texas Workforce Commission. We thank these community partners for supporting the future opportunities of our students as they enter the next chapter toward their own dreams. Ms. Fentress said the inaugural career signing day was successful and plans for it to grow and continue in the future.
