Watch: Frontier Day at Ft. Concho Starts with Pancakes

 

SAN ANGELO – Nationally renowned Ft. Concho National Historic Landmark in San Angelo hosted the 46th annual Frontier Day Saturday at the popular fort that started with a pancake breakfast with all the trimmings.

The event includes a week long cavalry competition with the finals Saturday, reenactments, and period demonstrations of all kinds and music.

Visitors enjoyed cotton and wool spinning demonstrations, a gunfight reenactment, Native American Teepee, Fort Concho Soldiers, sheep shearing, and much more.
