I saw a sign that read - Congrats to all of those that never had student debt, NOW YOU DO!

This is sending the wrong message to these kiddos. They signed a contract, promising to pay back the loan with interest. Now the lender will be left holding the bag. Who do you think they'll target to make up their losses? You and I, of course, and anyone else wanting to borrow money. The real lesson that is NOT being taught is to avoid accumulating more debt than you can afford.
