SAN ANGELO, TX – Angelo State University's admission application for fall 2023 opens Monday, Aug. 1, and ASU is inviting all potential students interested in attending ASU in fall 2023 to participate in the inaugural "Ready, Set, Rams: Application Day" event on Aug. 1 in the Houston Harte University Center at 1910 Rosemont Drive.
The ASU Admissions Office staff will work directly with participants to help submit their fall 2023 application for admission to ASU. Participants will also learn about ASU's many financial aid options and take a guided campus tour with current ASU students. Everyone who completes their application at the event will have their application fee waived and will receive a free ASU fanny pack.
There will be three opportunities to participate on Aug. 1 - at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The online registration form is available at angelo.edu/application-day, and check in will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of each session.
Additionally, ASU has added several new options for potential students and their families to tour the ASU campus. Campus tour options now include:
- Daily Campus Tours - Offered daily, Monday - Friday, as well as periodic evening tours
- Recorrido en Espanol - Visitas al campus realizadas en Espanol (Campus tours conducted in Spanish)
- Department of Agriculture Tours - Tailored for prospective students interested in agriculture fields, offered the first and third Tuesdays of each month
- Norris-Vincent College of Business Tours - Tailored for prospective students interested in business fields, offered every Wednesday
- High School Group Tours
- Elementary and Middle School Field Trips
The ASU Admissions Office also conducts several signature events throughout the year for high school students and their families to learn more about what ASU has to offer. They include:
- Academic Open Houses - Tailored for specific academic fields
- Ram Preview Days - Detailed showcase of what the Ram Fam is all about
- Discover ASU - A glimpse into life at ASU, hosted on President's Day
- Transfer Days - Specifically for potential transfer students
- Admitted Student Days - For students already admitted to ASU
- Game Day Tours - A guided tour and Rams football game, hosted during ASU Family Weekend
