San Angelo ISD Oakes Street Campus Students Released Early Monday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Central High School Campus on  Oaks St. will be getting an early release on Monday thanks to the A/C unit going out.

The following is a press release sent out by San Angelo ISD:

Due to an air conditioning outage at the Central High School on Oakes campus and a heat wave of temperatures over 100 degrees today, May 9, 2022, all Central on Oakes 9th grade students will have an early release at 11:11am. Parents/guardians may begin picking up their students at this time. Buses will run shortly after release.

SAISD Maintenance Team is working diligently to repair the issue in an attempt to bring the air conditioning to the campus.  The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We appreciate our Maintenance Team working to resolve this issue and the understanding and cooperation of our Central on Oakes students, families and staff.
