SAN ANGELO, TX – Howard College has announced it has been selected as one of the top 5 Military Friendly Schools in the country for 2021. Over 1,200 schools were evaluated during this process.
Howard College is one of 162 schools recognized with the “Gold” status and the only Texas school recognized in the Top 10 Small Community College category. The prestigious designation is earned after a thorough selection process that uses public data sources and survey responses.

The organization looks at student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence (degree advancement or transfer), and loan default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.
