Walmart Supplies Entire School District With Water Following Winter Storm

PAINT ROCK, TX – After losing water last week during the winter storm, Paint Rock ISD has announced that students will get back to class on Wednesday thanks to the Ballinger Walmart.

Please plan to be back on a normal schedule, with kids, on Wednesday, February 24th, stated Paint Rock ISD in a release.

They were planning to come back to school on Thursday, but the water situation has improved and now we have enough bottled water. Busses will run at the regular times.

"Thank you Walmart in Ballinger for helping us acquire enough bottled water to be able to have school in person starting Wednesday," said Paint Rock ISD Superintendent Ron Cline. "We are thrilled to be able to start back on Wednesday."

If a student cannot return on Wednesday, he or she will be on "Asynchronous Learning" for Wednesday, which is what we have been doing this last week and a half. No Zooms. The student will check Class Tag or Google Classroom for any assignments for Wednesday. We will plan to see him or her in person on Thursday.
