Midland ISD Welcomes New Superintendent

MIDLAND, TX – Midland Independent School District announced it has hired a new superintendent.

During a meeting on Friday, the Board of Trustees voted unanimously to hire Dr. Angelica Ramsey.

Dr.Ramsey holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Pacific, a master’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.

Ramsey was the Superintendent of Schools for Pleasant Valley School District in Camarillo in California.

She will be replacing former superintendent Orlando Riddick, whose contract was terminated back in August.
