SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo Independent School District announced Tuesday that all sports and extracurricular activities for Central High School are shut down for Wednesday. Lake View on the other hand can keep on practicing.
The following is the statement from SAISD:
For Wednesday, August 5, 2020, San Angelo ISD is suspending all athletics and extracurricular events including practices and try-outs for Central High School for the day. This does not impact Lake View High School. Lake View will continue all UIL activities as scheduled. The health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
Lake View Chiefs Football and Lady Chief Volleyball have already began and will continue until further notice.
