Coronavirus: Ector CISD Plans Virtual Celebration for 2020 Seniors

 

ODESSA, TX – After Governor Abbott issued an executive order that canceled in-person classes for the rest of the year and summer, the Ector County Independent School District promised to plan a special celebration for the 2020 Senior Class.

"We're going to commit to the class of 2020 that at some point in the future when it is safe, we do want to have face-to-face ceremony," Superintendent of Ector CISD Dr. Muri. "We're going to replace this year's with a virtual ceremony for our kids. More information about that is forthcoming to our seniors and our families."

According to CBS7, Midland ISD has not announced if they will be canceling May ceremonies.
