Water Valley ISD Issues Statement Regarding Coronavirus Closure

 

WATER VALLEY, TX – In a statement Superintendent, Fabian Gomez informed Water Valley ISD of the district’s decision to take preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of students and staff. Although there are zero reported cases in the area Water Valley ISD will remain closed to in person teaching until March 27, 2020 thereafter it will transition into a distance learning format.

Teachers will be contacting parents to discuss the new online learning curriculum. This includes video lessons, conferencing, email, and or work packets, which will be required for grading purposes. 

Meal services will still continue as planned beginning March 19, 2020. During this time all school buildings including the gym and weight room will be locked and unavailable to the public until further notice.
