Wylie ISD Cancels Athletic Events for Two Days Amid Coronavirus Concerns

ABILENE, TX – As of Thursday morning Wylie ISD has decided to cancel all athletic competitions involving their teams on Thursday and Friday.

In a Facebook post the school district said they called the events “due to increased caution concerning the Coronavirus pandemic.”

The district indicated they will reevaluate Saturday competitions and keep the community informed.
