SAN ANGELO, TX — Angelo State University’s online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree programs have been ranked among the best and most affordable in the nation for 2019 by multiple higher education resource guides.

ASU offers an online MSN degree program with two specialization options. The MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner program is for nurses with a bachelor’s degree (BSN) who wish to become advanced family practice nurses. The MSN-Nurse Educator program is for nurses with bachelor’s degrees who wish to teach nursing at the college level and/or at health care institutions.

ASU’s online MSN programs have been ranked No. 5 in the nation among the “Top 30 Most Affordable Master’s in Nursing Online Degree Programs” for 2019 by GradSchoolHub.com. ASU has also been ranked No. 10 among the nation's “Most Student-Friendly Online Colleges for Nursing Master’s Degrees” by OnlineDegrees.com.

More specifically, ASU’s online MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner program has been ranked among the top 10 in the U.S. by two different higher education guides:

All of ASU’s online and on-campus BSN and MSN degree programs hold CCNE accreditation and are offered through the Department of Nursing in the Archer College of Health and Human Services. More details are available at www.angelo.edu/nursing.
