SAN ANGELO, TX-- Angelo State University will host its inaugural Military and Veteran Information Day on Thursday Nov. 29.
According to the ASU Public Information Department, the event will be held in the Houston Harte Event Center from 4-6 p.m.
This come-and-go event is free to the public, and current military and veterans are encouraged to go.
Information will be provided about ASU degree programs, including in-class and online programs at the bachelor’s and master’s degree levels, and how to utilize their military education benefits.
Various booths will be there including:
- Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Security Studies
- Veterans Educational and Transitional Services (VETS) Center
- Air Force ROTC Detachment 847
- Career Development Office
- Disability Services
- Admissions Office
- Scholarship Programs Office
- Financial Aid Office
Current ASU veteran students will also be on hand to meet with attendees, and advance registration is not required.
