SAISD to host Convocation Ceremony at Foster Coliseum

SAN ANGELO, TX --San Angelo ISD will host its annual back-to-school convocation event on Tuesday, August 15 at the Foster Communications Coliseum.

The event welcomes all of the district's employees to the new school year and provides an atmosphere of celebration honoring each campus and department.

This year's keynote speaker is John O'Leary who has an amazing and inspiring story. O'Leary's message focuses on overcoming your challenges and celebrating the joy of today along with the possibility of tomorrow.

The event will also feature student involvement with presentations by our high school bands & choirs. There will also be orchestra and color guard performances. The event begins promptly at 9 a.m. and the public is cordially invited to attend.
