Russian Enrichment Program: The Experiences of an ASU Student

SAN ANGELO, TX – On October 13, Mary Jones will be presenting her experience as a member of the 2016 Moscow-Texas Connections Program, which allowed her to spend two months in Moscow.

The presentation will be going on in Room 004 Academic Building at ASU, starting at 6:30 pm. Jones had the opportunity to be one of the 24 students from Texas universities who participated in the program. The program was done through the Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program.

She is currently working on her master’s degree in biology and is member of the Russian language program at Angelo State.

Jones was able to fund her experience with the help of the CRRES, the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies. The center is a component of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Austin.
