SAISD to Host Annual Teacher of the Year Ceremony

The San Angelo Independent School District’s Teacher of the Year ceremony will be held Wednesday, April 27 at the Johnson Street Church of Christ Family Center, 2200 Johnson Street, beginning at 4:15 p.m., said a press release Monday.

A total of 25 campus Teachers of the Year will be introduced, and a district-wide elementary teacher winner will be named from among 18 nominees. Additionally, a district-wide secondary teacher winner will be named from among 7 nominees. 

A reception will follow the ceremony, and SAISD invites the public to attend.
