ASU Presents Friends of Art and Music Education Student Scholarship Exhibition

 

Angelo State University will present the Friends of Art and Music Education (FAME) Student Scholarship Exhibition, opening Monday, March 21, in the Carr Education-Fine Arts (EFA) Building, 2602 Dena Drive, said a press release Monday.

The exhibition will be on display in the EFA Building’s Gallery 193 and will be open for free public viewing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Friday, April 1. It features artworks in various media, including graphic design, photography, painting, and drawing by more than 25 ASU student art majors competing for two FAME scholarships. The entries are being judged by Rebekah Coleman, curator of education for the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts.

According to the press release, FAME has awarded more than 320 scholarships to ASU students totaling more than $188,500 since 1998.
