School Threat Not Valid

Today San Angelo LIVE! received notice from concerned parents about a threat against Lincoln students. San Angelo Independent School District was notified and here is what officials there had to say:

"Earlier today, a letter containing threats regarding a 'Lincoln school' was posted on social media. SAISD officials contacted the San Angelo Police Department and the letter has been traced to a school in another state and not our local Lincoln Middle School.  The letter poses no threat to our own Lincoln students or employees."

We will provide any updates if anything changes in this case.
