Angelo State University will present an exhibition of works by graduating ASU art majors beginning Wednesday, Nov. 12, in the Carr Education-Fine Arts (EFA) Building, 2602 Dena Drive.
Titled “Graduating Senior Art Exhibition,” the display will be housed in the EFA Building’s Gallery 193 and will be open for free public viewing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays Nov. 12-21 and Dec. 1-12. It will include a variety of artworks created by 11 senior art students under the guidance of Randy Hall, an associate professor of art and interim chair of the Department of Visual and Performance Art.
The exhibition will be divided into two parts. The first part will run Nov. 12-21 and will showcase paintings and drawings by Linda Martinez of Caltimacan, Mexico; graphic design by Garland R. Cook of El Paso, Kim Rand of Los Angeles, Michael Reyes of San Angelo and Tevin Simmons of Midland; and printmaking by Linette Castaneda of San Juan.
The second part will run Dec. 1-12 and will feature graphic design works by Caleb Rodriguez of Crane, Mik Samaniego-Lira of Sonora, Alexander C. Bryant of Abilene, Ruth A. Cardenas of Mission, and Henry A. Luna of Brady.
