WATCH: Body Cam Footage of Louisville Bank Shooter Released

LOUISVILLE, KY – The body cam footage showing officers shooting the gunman inside of the Old National Bank. 

In the video, taken from the twitter account Raws Alerts, viewers can witness police and Connor Sturgeon shooting at each other. The shootout came to a conclusion after Sturgeon was shot and killed.

The Sturgeon family released the following statement following the shooting: 

“No words can express our sorrow, anguish, and horror at the unthinkable harm our son Connor inflicted on innocent people, their families, and the entire Louisville community,” his family said. “We mourn their loss and that of our son, Connor. We pray for everyone traumatized by his senseless acts of violence and are deeply grateful for the bravery and heroism of the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department.”
