WATCH: SAPD Searching for Gunman from the 31st Street Shooting

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department is currently searching for the man responsible for shooting a 19-year-old on the North side of San Angelo.

According to the San Angelo Police Department's Crime Stoppers, on Dec. 15, the crime stoppers are currently searching for Jesus “Chino” Alvarez Jr.

Alvarez is currently wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following a shooting on North 31st St.

Chino is a 22-year-old Hispanic male that is 5'8" and 140 pounds. His hair is black and eyes are brown. Chino is currently facing numerous other charges including two counts of manufacture and delivery of methamphetamine and heroin from an arrest in April.
