WATCH: Police Seeking Juvenile Car Burglars Caught on Camera

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department is currently searching for multiple juveniles who attempted to break into a number of vehicles in the PaulAnn area earlier this week. 

According to the SAPD, a video captured by surveillance cameras spotted two attempted vehicle burglaries on June Lane from February 4, 2020.

The four juvenile suspects recorded in the video kept walking after they discovered the two vehicles were locked. Other vehicles in the area didn’t fare as well.

Here are some tips from the SAPD about how to keep vehicle from being burglarized. 

  1. Lock It – lock their vehicle when they are away from it for any amount of time.  
  2. Take It – take their keys and other valuables out of the vehicle and NEVER leave firearms behind as they might end up in the hands of criminals.
  3. Hide It – hide valuable items in the trunk or out of sight if you cannot take the items with you.
